Loan management software for cooperative banks & credit societies
Member lending with a defensible ledger and real approval separation, priced by portfolio size rather than per seat.
Cooperative banks and credit societies typically run books with many small loans, a handful of operators, and an audit and inspection burden out of proportion to their size. GoDravix fits that shape: pricing follows portfolio size rather than seats, approval separation is enforced in the workflow, and the audit trail cannot be edited by anyone.
The trade-off is breadth. This is a loan management system, not a core banking platform. It does not handle deposits, savings or member accounting.
What works today
- Member lending lifecycle
Sanction, approval, disbursement, repayment, waiver and closure with certificates at each material point.
- Approval separation without headcount
Three roles cover the money-touching actions. A society with four staff can still show an inspector a proper segregation of duties.
- Half-yearly and yearly recovery
Frequencies that suit agricultural and seasonal member lending, not only monthly EMI.
- Audit trail no one can tidy
Append-only in the strict sense once the book is live. No edit and no delete for any role, including Admin.
- Independent Auditor role
Read-only access across the whole book including the complete event log, outside the operations chain.
- Certificates from live balances
Interest Repaid and Outstanding Balance certificates generated from the ledger rather than typed into a template.
- Portfolio-based pricing
Priced on loans or assets under management rather than per user, which usually suits many-loans-few-operators books.
Outside scope for this sector
- Core banking functionsNo deposits, savings accounts, share capital or member accounting. This is lending only.
- Gold loans and LTV productsNo collateral valuation, no loan-to-value monitoring, no auction workflow.
- RBI and registrar return formatsThe five standard reports export to Excel and PDF, but no statutory return is generated in a prescribed regulatory format.
- Vernacular interfaceThe interface is in English. Local-language support is roadmap, which matters for member-facing use.
Some of it is built into an engagement, some is genuinely out of scope, and some is development we can quote against your requirement. Which one it is depends on your workflow, and that is a fifteen-minute conversation rather than a guess.
Workflows this sector actually runs
Running a segregation of duties with a small team
One permission creates, a second approves, a third releases the funds. Where one person necessarily holds two of them in a small society, that is a deliberate assignment visible in every audit entry rather than an untracked convenience.
Seasonal recovery cycles
Half-yearly and yearly repayment frequencies handle lending recovered after a harvest or an annual cycle, rather than forcing an artificial monthly schedule onto a book that does not work that way.
Answering the inspector
The Auditor role gives read-only access to the whole portfolio and the complete event log, filterable by actor, action, member and date. The inspector reads it directly rather than receiving a compiled extract.
Issuing the interest certificate members ask for
An Interest Repaid Certificate for a stated period, generated from ledger balances and recorded as an issuance event, so a reissue later is visible rather than silent.
For this sector
GoDravix manages lending: loans, disbursements, interest, repayments, waivers, certificates and the ledger behind them. Deposits, savings, share capital and member accounting stay with your core system.
A cooperative bank would run the two alongside each other, exchanging files rather than a live integration.
By portfolio size (active loans or assets under management) rather than per seat. That structure generally favours a society with a few thousand small loans and five or six staff, which would be penalised by per-user pricing. We do not publish price points and will not quote before understanding the book.
Gold lending needs collateral valuation, loan-to-value monitoring and an auction-and-release workflow. A gold loan could be recorded as a term loan, but the safeguards that make gold lending safe would not be around it.
If gold is a meaningful part of your book, this is not a fit today.
Not in prescribed formats yet. The five reports carry the underlying data and export to Excel and PDF, so the return is compiled by your team from those. Format-specific return generation is a scoped development request, a common one, and straightforward once the format is pinned down.
